• Nebuchadnezzar Warning for the Esteemed Leaders of China

To The Esteemed Leaders of China

I am writing this blog to the President of China, the Honorable Xi Jin Ping. I am also writing to the esteemed leaders of the Chinese Communist Party. May you, the President and esteemed leaders of China, receive wisdom from the story of the great and historic Chaldean King, Nebuchadnezzar. This king seized control of all trade routes in Mesopotamia. For he believed he had the right of universal kingship granted to him by Marduk, the alleged god of Babylon. In your part of the world, this was when King Ding of Zhou reigned as the ninth king of Eastern Zhou. Also, this was near the time of Confucius.

King Nebuchadnezzar sought wisdom judging from the inscription he placed on the Ishtar Gate leading into the heart of Babylon. The inscription mentions embracing wisdom, fathoming the divine being, and revering their majesty.

He also dreamed of an enormous, dazzling statue. The head was made of pure gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze. Its legs were of iron, but strangely, its feet were partly iron and partly of baked clay. While the king was watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were all broken to pieces and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth.

King Nebuchadnezzar demanded that his magicians, enchanters, sorcerers, and astrologers tell him what he dreamed, then interpret it. But, of course, no one knew the dream, for he had told no one.

There is a God in heaven that reveals mysteries.

Only Daniel, a Hebrew that had been captured and selected to work in the king’s service, could tell the king what he had dreamed and what the dream meant. When Daniel learned what the God of heaven had said to the king, he replied to God. Praise be to the name of God forever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises others. And, he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things. He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. So, I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors. You have given me wisdom and power and made me know what we asked of you. You have made known to us the dream of the king.

The Bible has recorded Daniel’s interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in Daniel 2:26-48. It is written below:

The king asked Daniel (also called Belteshazzar), “Are you able to tell me what I saw in my dream and interpret it?”

Daniel replied, “No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come. Your dream and the visions that passed through your mind as you were lying in bed are these:

Daniel reveals the dream

As Your Majesty was lying there, your mind turned to things to come, and the revealer of mysteries showed you what is going to happen. As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive, but so that Your Majesty may know the interpretation and that you may understand what went through your mind.

“Your Majesty looked, and there before you stood a large statue—an enormous, dazzling statue, awesome in appearance. The head of the statue was made of pure gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of baked clay. While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were all broken to pieces and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth.

“This was the dream, and now we will interpret it to the king.

Daniel interprets the dream

Your Majesty, you are the king of kings. The God of heaven has given you dominion and power and might and glory; in your hands he has placed all mankind and the beasts of the field and the birds in the sky. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold.

“After you, another kingdom will arise, inferior to yours. Next, a third kingdom, one of bronze, will rule over the whole earth. Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron—for iron breaks and smashes everything—and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others. Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.

A kingdom that will never be destroyed

“In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands—a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces.

“The great God has shown the king what will take place in the future. The dream is true and its interpretation is trustworthy.”

Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell prostrate before Daniel and paid him honor and ordered that an offering and incense be presented to him. The king said to Daniel, “Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.”

Then the king placed Daniel in a high position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and placed him in charge of all its wise men.

Beware Esteemed Leaders of China

King Nebuchadnezzar learned little from the dream he had received. He made an image of gold 27 meters tall and 2.7 meters wide. He set it up on the plain of Dura in the province of Babylon. The king then summoned the satraps, prefects, governors, advisers, treasurers, judges, magistrates, and all the other provincial officials to come to the dedication of the image.

When all had assembled, the herald loudly proclaimed, “Nations and peoples of every language, this is what you are commanded: As soon as you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music, you must fall and worship the image of gold that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up. Whoever does not fall and worship will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace.” But, of course, the God of heaven protected the people that believed in God and did not worship the image. Therefore, esteemed leaders of China, do not persecute people who choose God over something you ask them to fall and worship.

The King Still Did Not Learn His Lesson

At the time of the furnace, God saved three men: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. So Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command, and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. Therefore I decree that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego be cut into pieces, and their houses be turned into piles of rubble, for no other god can save in this way.”

The king still did not learn his lesson. So, God sent another dream. Again, Daniel interpreted the dream, and it was a very troubling dream. Finally, twelve months later, the dream came true.

Royal Authority Taken

Daniel 4:29-33 reads: as the king was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, he said, “Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?”

Even as the words were on his lips, a voice came from heaven, “This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar: Your royal authority has been taken from you. You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes.”  Immediately what had been said about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven away from people and ate grass like the ox. His body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird.

The King Finally Learned His Lesson

At the end of that time, Nebuchadnezzar raised his eyes toward heaven. Then, with his sanity restored, he praised the Most High God. He honored and glorified the God who lives forever. I paraphrase the following:

King Nebuchadnezzar said that God’s dominion is eternal; His kingdom endures from generation to generation. Therefore, all the peoples of the earth are nothing compared to God. Additionally, God does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. Therefore, no one can hold back God’s hand or say to him: “What have you done?”

By the way, Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom was restored to him and his kingdom became greater than before.

A Message From King Nebuchadnezzar To The Esteemed Leaders of China

King Nebuchadnezzar,

To the nations and peoples of every language who live on all the earth:

May you prosper greatly!

I am pleased to tell you about the miraculous signs and wonders that the Most High God has performed for me.

How great are his signs,
How mighty his wonders!
His kingdom is eternal;
His dominion endures from generation to generation.

God Still Speaks

I am not Daniel, but God gave me a vision of China in the summer of 2001. America is becoming weaker, and China is getting stronger. America has forgotten to have God first in her heart. China is expanding globally, and no human or nation of humans is strong enough to stop them. I saw this happening in a vision in July of 2001. Events are happening just as I saw them in the vision. God told me to shout to the esteemed leaders of China, for there is One that will deal with China. The God of Heaven can humble those who walk in pride. Esteemed leaders of China; I am not trying to overthrow your country, I am telling you that the God of Heaven is coming to see you.
