The Global Climate Agenda
You must get a subscription to the Epoch Times and find the article written by Darlene McCormick Sanchez. Her article, titled Religious Leaders Join UN, WEF to Push the Global Climate Agenda, should alarm us all to action. Why? Well, I’m glad you asked.
Here is Why
About 33 months ago, I posted The Green New Deal Is An Old Idea. I stated that the Green New Deal was nothing more than the trafficking of indulgences. Just as the Catholics used to fill their coffers by selling forgiveness, a false Socialist religion was planning to use Carbon Tax Credits and an Environmental Social Governance system to control people and force them to pay indulgences.
More recently, the Epoch Times author wrote, “The recognition that religion can be a powerful tool when applied to selling the global warming narrative has been gaining traction at the United Nations and the World Economic Forum (WEF), where faith has traditionally been kept at arm’s length.” She continued, “The globalist agencies are now welcoming help from religious leaders fighting climate change, one of the 17 U.N. sustainable development goals for 2030.”
Without reservation, I see this religious “tool” as vindication that my criticism of the global climate agenda is on target. The Epoch Times article quotes Pastor Robert Jeffress, pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas: “I think this is a dangerous agenda, and it keeps the church from doing what its primary calling is, and that is to win people to faith in Jesus Christ.”
Additionally, Mr. O’Fallon warned the Epoch Times. He is the founder of Sovereign Nations which is a media website dedicated to the preservation of national sovereignty. The article characterizes O’Fallons description of the U.N. and WEF’s ambitions as sinister. The climate change agenda is part of the U.N. and WEF’s quest to govern the world’s energy and wealth, he said. “This is going to be all-encompassing. It’s going to change everything unless we completely stop it,”
That is not all.
Basically, it creates a government religion. It is a false Socialist religion to fill its coffers by selling the global climate agenda. As in the Medieval times, indulgences will be sold. When King Charles was the Prince of Wales, he had a Terra Carta written. You can download a copy here. The importance of this document is emphasized by the similarity of its name to the historic Magna Carta.
See this text from page 1.
Over the coming years, my Sustainable Markets Initiative will report on and update the Terra Carta regularly in order to reflect the rapid pace of change and the continuous progress being achieved around the world. If we consider the legacy of our generation, more than 800 years ago, Magna Carta inspired a belief in the fundamental rights and liberties of people.
As we strive to imagine the next 800 years of human progress, the fundamental rights and value of Nature must represent a step-change in our ‘future of industry’ and ‘future of economy’ approach. With this in mind, Nature, of which we are an integral part, lies at the heart of the ‘Terra Carta’.
Today must be the decisive moment that we make sustainability the growth story of our time, while positioning Nature as the engine of our economy. To help us succeed, and to complement global efforts across public, private and philanthropic sectors, I am calling on CEOs from around the world to engage and play their part in leading the global transition. To guarantee our future, we have no other choice but to make each day count – and it must
start today.
The Pathway To Hell
So, my opinion of the Terra Carta is that it is 18 pages of long sentences. It uses sentences with obtuse and vague language that makes me suspicious. The word economy is used 13 times in this 18-page document. The word sustainability is used 28 times. One of the listed aims of the document is to broaden the definition of the word sustainability! The word sustainable is used 96 times.
Now, wise men may disagree on the Global Climate Agenda’s authenticity and motives. An old saying comes to mind that I learned growing up in Texas. “The pathway to hell is paved with good intentions.” So, suppose one was to give the proponents of the Global Climate Agenda the benefit of the doubt. Let’s say they are true in their belief, and their motives are pure for argument’s sake. In that case, the result of their central planning socialist agenda is still likely to be an abysmal failure resulting in the death of millions. History shows us nothing else.
According to the Epoch Times, ‘The independent foundation Climate Intelligence (CLINTEL) issued a statement this summer declaring that there’s no climate emergency. The document has been signed by nearly 2,000 scientists and professionals from about 60 nations as of Dec. 1.
Furthermore, in a different interview with the Epoch Times, Marcel Crok (founding member of CLINTEL) had this to say. “The ‘cure’—getting rid of fossil fuels ASAP and replacing them with renewables—probably will be worse than the ‘disease.'”
Work it and take care of it.
Above all, in one sentence, the book of Genesis tells us how to care for the planet. Genesis 2:15 reads, The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. It really is that simple. Sustain a planet like you sustain a garden. If you can’t grow a garden, you better make alliances with someone who can.
Meanwhile, how do we find a way to protect the environment and ourselves from the Global Climate Agenda? I can only think of one way in this Advent season and the celebration of the birth of Jesus. We need the Way Maker. (click the link to read the lyrics and listen to the song sung by Leeland)
No need to worry
Jesus is the Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, and Light in the Darkness. Specifically, I’m not an environmentalist, but Jesus’s Father created the environment. If we follow His son Jesus and praise Jesus as the song shows us, we will have nothing to worry about.

Phillip Schaff writes in the History Of The Church Volume VII the following. “Tetzel was born between 1450 and 1460 at Leipzig and began his career as a preacher of indulgences in 1501.
