Defy The Laws Of Nature
I walk down life’s road, several decades ahead of some of my fellow sojourners. And in doing so, I remember my youth and watching the Pink Panther cartoons on TV. As cartoons are notoriously famous for, the characters defy the Laws of Nature. For example, there is an episode in which the Pink Panther is riding an elevator. Someone cuts the elevator cable. Just before the elevator crashes at the bottom, the door opens early, and the panther steps out softly onto the ground. He turns around just in time to watch the elevator crash just inches from where he stands. The Pink Panther is completely unscathed from the rapid descent and sudden stop, completely defying the laws of nature.
Likewise, I see people actively working to bring down their governments and appear to believe they will escape unscathed. History indicates that no one will be unscathed. Look at the communist revolutions of Mao Zedong, Lenin, and Stalin. Millions died while tyrannical rulers prevailed. While cartoons are amusing, defying the laws of nature is no laughing matter.
Some believe hastening the implementation of a socialist agenda is not a violation of nature. Yet, what is natural about tyranny? It is like excusing cancer as something natural. I pray they learn their lesson and refrain from excusing tyranny. Sadly, some believe they’ll survive the descent into the loss of freedom. They see the world upside down. And as their proverbial elevators descend, they believe they’re developing, implementing, and redesigning a new world order. A world where they will become the decision-makers, the wise people who participate in forums and plan the future.
Evil men from the marketplace
When the elevator doors open, they’ll blame the disasters of their making on someone else. They strive for diplomacy with an ayatollah and call an American president Hitler. Woe to those who call evil good and good evil. I contend that people like this are delusional and are like the evil men mentioned in the marketplace of Thessalonica in the 17th chapter of Acts. Those non-believers of Jesus Christ dragged some Christians to the rulers of Thessalonica, crying out, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.
Now, before you start clutching your pearls, I won’t go as far as to say these delusional people are evil, but they remind me of evil. They attend security conferences in Munich titled Playing With Fire: The Need for Decisive Climate Action. Yet, they are the ones playing with fire as they bloviate about climate neutrality and moral imperatives. They suggest that dealing with Trump or with Putin is like choosing a poison. The delusional sing the praises of Xi Jinping and his regulation of production while remaining silent about his organ harvesting program.
Playing with fire
Additionally, they dream of solar farms in Morocco that will power Europe’s grids. This dream will likely benefit China’s cap-and-trade programs. In contrast, they accuse others of assisting the fossil fuel industry in creating vassal states. Their dream is nothing more than the scheme of the Middle Ages, for Climate Neutrality is nothing more than the selling of indulgences. Instead of the ones they accuse, it is they who are playing with fire, worshiping a false religion, and committing a spiritual adultery. Can a man take fire to his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? Does this not defy the laws of nature? James wrote that the Spirit that dwells in us yearns jealously, and whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Their sanctimonious rhetoric about saving the planet is as nonsensical as any cartoon character. Yet they are the ones who see the world upside down and are very dangerous. Is it any wonder that Europe’s cathedrals are empty? It is reminiscent of the age when the Moors were present in Europe. Why so? Because people are looking to governments, not to God, to solve their problems. Meanwhile, mosques filled with followers that political leaders fear are popping up everywhere! (Not just in Europe)
Be Encouraged
At some point, many will become desperate for God. And, if you’re feeling desperate for God, that’s a good thing. You are right where you’re supposed to be:
If you are a Christian, the following prayer is for you. The You Version Bible App contains this prayer titled God’s Protection:
God, even in the middle of hard circumstances, You provide for me. You protect me at all times, and You set me apart as Yours. Nothing can separate me from Your love. No matter what I might face, I belong to the God who overcame death, and He fights for me and makes me an overcomer. Thank You Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen
Here are some excerpts from the You Version Bible App:
One of the primary images of God in the Old Testament is that of God as Warrior. Throughout Scripture, God frequently goes to battle for his people or stands with them in the midst of difficulty—protecting them from harm. Scripture tells us that God does not stand idly by and watch His children fight alone. He’s a warrior-our Warrior-who’s actively protecting His people.
The writer of Psalm 3 calls God a Shield that surrounds him. God is not distant—He is present and active in our lives. Even though we may experience pain and suffering, we can go to God for help and safety. He knows how to protect us and fight for us. The writer of this Psalm also says that God is the One who lifts our heads in the midst of difficulty. It can be easy to become discouraged or tired during hard times. But even in those moments, God supports us. Yes, even when the world has gone mad and people attempt to defy the laws of nature.
